The eBay Community is made up of people around the world who buy and sell in the eBay marketplace every day. Whether a member is a buyer who shops on eBay for practical needs or for fun, or a seller who lists on eBay as a primary source of income - eBay becomes a part of our members' lifestyles.

Many members have created second businesses by selling items on eBay. Some have moved their brick-and-mortar businesses to eBay. Others have quit their day jobs altogether, to sell on eBay! For millions of people, eBay is the place to share a passion for items that are special, or just to shop for practically anything on Earth.

Since the early days of eBay, members have helped other members be successful on eBay, and this strong spirit of camaraderie continues to thrive. A primary way members interact with others is within the eBay Community area . Here are some of the resources you will find there:

• Discussion Boards

  Through the eBay.ca discussion boards, members meet and form meaningful relationships with other eBay sellers and buyers. Every day, members use these forums to get help from other experienced members, share their best practices with others who are just starting out, and just socialize! You'll find a wide variety of conversations going on every day - from topics about favourite collectables to sharing tips on how to grow your business.

• Answer Centre

  The member-to-member question and answer boards in the Answer Centre provide a forum for eBay members to ask questions, give or get answers, and share information about trading on eBay.

• News and Information

  Since staying informed is an important key to success on eBay, our Community area offers several important news and educational resources to help our members get the information they need. Updated regularly, the eBay Canada General Announcements board is the place members can go for official eBay communication on new features, category changes, policy updates, and other news.

• Online Workshops

  Interactive online workshops hosted by staff, as well as expert members, are available to all registered members. They combine posted "lecture" information with question-and-answer sessions. Topics cover a wide range of subjects - from how to use a new feature or create a perfect listing, to understanding a particular category, like antiques or computers.

• eBay Live! Conference

  eBay celebrates with our Community every year at our annual eBay Live! conference. eBay Live! is a great opportunity for buyers and sellers to attend eBay University classes, network with other members, and talk to eBay staff in person.
