NHL fans can ride a piece of Toronto Maple Leaf history

It's been quite a ride for Oakville resident Mark Healy since he purchased the last Zamboni used at Maple Leaf Gardens in November 2000. Now, this important piece of Canadian hockey history is up for sale at www.ebay.ca.

After its run at Maple Leaf Gardens, the Zamboni became a familiar site at various GTA charity events and parades. Signed by a variety of Canadian athletes including Paul Henderson and Elvis Stojko, it also saw the marriage of a loving couple on The Learning Channel's "Wedding Story," when the couple boarded the Zamboni to exchange vows.

Healy is listing the Zamboni on www.ebay.ca, providing other NHL fans an opportunity to jump aboard. As an added bonus, Mark will deliver the Zamboni to a Toronto Maple Leafs practice to get it signed by the team, prior to passing it over to its new owner.
