Toronto, ON - Canadian parents worried that their children will be disappointed this season if they don't get their Beyblades - widely predicted to be this season's "hot" holiday item - have another option, trying their luck on eBay.ca. With more than 1,000 current listings for a wide variety of Beyblades and accessories available on eBay.ca, eBay Canada is an easy and fun option for parents who want to fulfill their child's holiday wish list. "eBay.ca truly offers a great alternative for parents who want to find great holiday gifts this season, and our savvy eBay sellers know this," says Andrew Sloss, toy category manager, eBay Canada. "They've already started listing and selling every possible Beyblade item and accessory for sale on eBay.ca and we expect that it will increase through the holiday season, especially as it gets closer and parents start to focus on the holidays." "In addition to Beyblades, there are almost 10,000 Yu-Gi-Oh items and accessories available on eBay.ca," adds Sloss. "We know these will also be very popular items for buyers and sellers this holiday season." Many of these and other hot holiday items listed can be purchased through auction, but many also are identified as "Buy It Now" items. "eBay.ca offers a "Buy It Now" feature which allows buyers to purchase an item at a fixed price, without having to wait for the auction to end, making Beyblade or Yu-Gi-Oh shopping a sure thing. Parents can try their luck and auction skills or they can use the Buy It Now feature," says Sloss. Buy It Now items are clearly marked with a "Buy it Now" flag alongside the item listing. In addition, says Sloss, shopping on eBay.ca is a place where family members of all ages can have fun, buying and selling just about anything on earth. "People love the thrill of the hunt on eBay and there's a great sense of accomplishment when they win an auction, which will be especially true for hard-to-find holiday items. And, it saves shoppers from the malls during a very busy time of year."

"By empowering the eBay.ca user to choose from a new range of real estate offerings, including the traditional auction, fixed price and no purchase advertising formats, we are providing a much sought-after service to both the potential buyer and the individual or company listing the property." "We are very pleased to work with eBay.ca on this new initiative that will benefit both the realtor and the Canadian property buyer," said Michael Kalles, M.B.A., president, Harvey Kalles Real Estate Limited Realtor. "By listing our properties on eBay.ca, we are providing our sales representatives with an additional sales channel that allows a new audience of potential buyers to contact our representatives quickly and easily." The seller and/or their listing agent may then contact potentially interested parties to discuss the listing further. eBay policy prohibits the seller and/or their listing agent from disclosing users' email addresses to third parties The Real Estate Advertising option is an excellent complimentary marketing channel for sellers and/or their agents to pique the interest of potential buyers that may not have been reached by other sales channels.
