Attract more Buyers – Include Shipping Costs in your eBay Listings!
Take advantage of the opportunity to include shipping costs for each Canada Post shipping service you offer when you list an item on eBay. Listings with shipping costs will attract more buyers, as they are more comfortable bidding when they know exactly how much shipping will cost upfront. In addition, shipping costs are automatically transferred to eBay’s invoicing & checkout process, so buyers can pay the total amount quickly & you can ship your item sooner.

You can include calculated* or flat shipping costs in your listings:

  1. Calculated - eBay's free, easy-to-use Shipping Calculator automatically calculates and displays Canada Post shipping rates* to buyers worldwide, based on their location.
  2. Flat - You choose one shipping cost that applies to all buyers.

2. Enter the packaged item's weight and dimensions (length, width and height).

3. Select the Canada Post service(s) you'll be shipping the item with. Click "Research rates" for help on Canada Post services and shipping costs.

4. Enter a handling fee, if desired (buyers will see one combined total shipping cost).

5. Go to the Shipping (International) section, choose "Calculated" in the drop down menu.

6. Select the "Ship to" location (Worldwide is recommended), and select the Canada Post US and international service(s) you'll be shipping the item with. Click "Research rates" for help on Canada Post services and shipping costs.

* Shipping rates quoted are derived by adding postage fees and fuel charges (obtained from advertised Canada Post consumer, non-discounted retail rates, along with applicable taxes on postage), plus handling charges. Quoted rates assume the accuracy of information provided by the user. Canada Post advertised quotes are estimates and subject to adjustment by Canada Post. Actual shipping rates may vary.
