Annual Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Has selling items on eBay Canada put a little extra cash in your pocket? Love the sound of jingling coins and the feel of crisp bills? Well, keep at it because eBay Canada wants to give you MORE! If you’re an ambitious and hardworking entrepreneur running a successful small business on eBay, shout it out! Submissions are accepted until August 9, 2009, so don’t delay.

eBay Canada’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Open to eBay small business owners in Canada who sell full-time and part-time and who meet the eligibility criteria. The winner of this title wins a prize valued at $3,000!

Comeback of the Year Award

eBay Canada recognizes that 2009 has been a challenging year. This award will recognize Canadians who experienced a professional or personal setback, and then found success with eBay.ca. The prize is valued at $2,000!

To qualify for entry, eligible members must meet the following criteria:

Achieve a minimum of $1,000 CAD in sales per month on eBay.ca/eBay.com or the sites combined.
Post a minimum of ten listing per month on eBay.ca/eBay.com or the sites combined.
Have at least 98% positive feedback.
Entrants must register for the competition and answer a set of questions. All entries must be received by August 9, 2009. (Comeback of the Year entrants must answer an additional question to enter for that award.)

The winners in each category will be announced during Canadian Small Business week in October.
