Open to eBay small business owners in Canada who sell full-time and part-time and who meet the eligibility criteria.

Service-preneur of the Year award

To recognize members whose service goes above and beyond the requirements of a top-rated seller to provide unique and personalized service to eBay buyers. The winner of this title wins a prize valued at $2,000!

Unique and personalized services can include the use of social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube and Facebook, creative product packaging, sustainability initiatives, resourceful inventory procurement practices and other customer engagement initiatives.



Newcomer of the Year award

To recognize members who are new. The winner of this title wins a prize valued at $2,000!

This can include someone who is new to eBay (started selling within the last 12 months), new to Canada (immigrated in the last 12 months), selling a new or cool product, or new to e-commerce (took their bricks-and-mortar/offline business online in the last 12 months)



How to enter:

To qualify for entry, eligible members must meet the following criteria:

  • • Achieve a minimum of $1,000 CAD in sales per month
       on eBay.ca/eBay.com or the sites combined.
  • • Post a minimum of ten listings per month on eBay.ca
       and/or eBay.com.
  • • Have at least 98% positive feedback.
  • • Entrants must register for the competition and answer
       a set of questions. All entries must be received by August 19, 2011.
