How do I mark my item as paid or shipped?
You can track the status of items you are buying and selling (if you have a seller's account) and update the status under the Take action column in My eBay.
Marking an Item as Paid
If you paid for an item and My eBay is still showing it needs to be paid, you can manually mark the item as paid for your own records. Marking your item as paid does not notify the seller. Regardless of what the status shows in My eBay, as long as your seller acknowledges receiving payment, your part of the transaction is complete.
To mark an item as paid:From the left column of My eBay, click the Won link under Buy.
In the Won section, find the item you want to mark as paid.
From the Take action menu, select Mark as Payment Sent. The
icon turns blue, so you can quickly see that payment is complete for this item.
Note: If you pay for your item using PayPal, or the seller marks the item as Payment Received on their My eBay page, the payment status in My eBay will be automatically updated to display as Payment Sent. However, if you paid using another payment method, and you manually mark the item as Payment Sent, the seller is not automatically notified.
Marking an Item as Shipped
If you shipped an item to a buyer and My eBay is still showing it needs to be shipped, you can manually mark the item as shipped for your own records. Marking your item as shipped does not notify the buyer.
To mark an item you sent as shipped:From the left column of My eBay, click the Sold link under Sell.
In the Sold section, find the item you want to mark as shipped.
From the Take action menu, select Mark as Shipped. The
icon turns yellow, so you can quickly see that the item has been shipped.
Note: You can also send an invoice, relist an item, and print a shipping label from the Take action menu.
