Since 2000, eBay’s Community has raised more than US $59 million for a number of worthy causes from listings sold on eBay worldwide. To further support your generosity, eBay Canada has enacted the eBay Canada Charity Fee Credit Policy.
When a registered Canadian charity lists on www.ebay.ca for the purpose of fundraising, eBay Canada will credit Insertion, Gallery and Final Value Fees back to the same registered Canadian charity.
If you're a registered Canadian charity, the first step is to complete the Charity Registration and Promotional form on the site.
Obtaining a charity fee credit
As of June 1, 2006, Registered Canadian charities must complete the following steps in order to receive a free credit for their charity listings.
Ensure you have submitted the Charity Registration and Promotion Form prior to your auction. Only organizations who submit this form will be eligible for the eBay Canada Charity Fee Credit.
At the end of your auction contact eBay Canada's Billing Support team by clicking here.
