Changing your item picture
Gallery pictures are usually generated within minutes of being submitted, but can take up to several hours at peak times. If your Gallery picture is not being displayed in search results within a few hours of when you submitted your listing, or if you've received an email from eBay indicating a problem with your Gallery picture, you can resubmit or change your Gallery picture.
Note: You must include at least one picture in your listing for your free Gallery Picture.
Changing your Gallery picture
For auction-style listings, you can change your Gallery Picture as long as there are no bids and more than 12 hours remain on your listing.
Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages. You might be asked to sign in.
Click the Selling link under All Selling on the left side of the page. The list of items you are currently selling appears.
Select the item you want to change the picture for, and then select the Revise link from the drop-down menu under the Action column.
In the Bring your item to life with pictures section:
If you selected eBay Picture Hosting, select the picture you want to use as your Gallery picture by moving it to the first (far left) position, or replace the first picture with the one you want.
If you selected Gallery picture web address (self-hosting), replace the web address for your picture.
The recommended size for the picture you submit is at least 1600 pixels on the longest side, and 500 pixels is the minimum. Source pictures with smaller dimensions can be used, but can result in lower quality Gallery pictures. Find out more about minimum picture requirements.
Resubmitting your existing picture
You can also resubmit your existing picture at any time. To resubmit your existing picture:
Click the Site Map link at the top of any eBay page.
On the Site Map, click the Change Your Item's Gallery Image link and follow the instructions.
