Picture Manager in the Sell Your Item Form
Note: New subscriptions to Picture Manager are no longer available because we’re in the process of discontinuing this service. There are two tabs on the Sell Your Item form where you can insert pictures using Picture Manager. You can choose either, eBay Picture Services or Your Web hosting. If you prefer using eBay layouts rather than creating your own HTML, use the eBay Picture Services tab.
If you are an advanced seller and want to create your own layouts and HTML in the description field click the “Your Web hosting” link.
Add Pictures & Details page
Picture Manager displays directly under the eBay Picture Services tab in the Add Pictures section on the Enter Pictures & Details page.
Uploading new pictures
Click the Add Pictures button.
A browse window displays, enabling you to choose picture files from your computer and upload copies of them to Picture Manager folders.
Note: You are limited to 12 pictures per listing. If you want to upload many pictures at one time and create multiple listings, you can use the Picture Manager uploader in My eBay before you start listing with the Sell Your Item form.
Selecting a folder and a view
To browse and select your pictures, click the Select Folder drop-down menu in the upper right corner and select the folder that contains the pictures you want to use.
You can choose between Thumbnail view (small pictures) shown above or the List View using the View links at the upper left of Picture Manager. The List view will display each picture's name, size, and upload date, and enable you to sort your pictures.
Inserting, removing, and ordering pictures in the listing
Inserting Pictures
In the Thumbnail View, select the checkbox below the image for each picture you want to insert.
Click the Insert button and the selected pictures will be inserted in the listing and display below "Pictures in Your Listing".
Removing Pictures
To remove pictures, select the checkbox below the image for each picture you want to remove.
Click the Remove button. This removes them from the listing, but does not delete them from Picture Manager.
Ordering Pictures
Select the checkbox below the image for each picture you want to move.
To rearrange the order of inserted pictures, click the Move Left and Move Right buttons to shift the selected pictures in either direction.
Adding pictures to your description
You can add pictures to your description in two ways:
Select the checkboxes of pictures you want to add. Select the picture size using the "Choose Picture Size" drop-down menu. Click the Add to Description button to insert the pictures at the current cursor position in the description.
Copy the Web addresses that display in the “HTML for description box” and paste them into the description area.
