Basic fees

The basic cost of selling an item is the insertion fee plus the notice fee, plus fees for any optional features and services you may use:

• When you list an item on eBay, you're charged an insertion fee.

• If the item sells, you're also charged a notice fee as noted below.

• You may also be charged fees for any optional features or services you may use.

• PayPal fees may also apply.

*There's an extra fee to extend your auction-style listing to a 10-day duration.

You won't be charged a notice fee if:

• There are no bids on your item.

• There are no bids that meet your reserve price if you specified one.

• Your listing is in the Residential, Commercial, or Other Real Estate category.

• Your item is listed using the Ad format. (If you have a Ad listing with the Best Offer option, then a final value fee applies.)

Otherwise, you'll be charged a notice fee, whether or not you carry out the sale with the buyer.

Optional feature fees

You can add the following optional features for a small fee to help increase bids and chances of selling success.

Other terms

• Insertion fees and advanced listing upgrade fees apply to each listing you create, are charged at the time of listing, and are nonrefundable. Fee amounts are based on the terms in effect when the listing goes live and when it renews. If you select more than one category for your listing, insertion and advanced listing upgrade fees apply for each category.

• Not all listing upgrades are available with every listing tool and not all advanced listing upgrades, when purchased, may be displayable across all our sites, services, applications, and tools.

• We require payment in full each month on accounts with an amount due of $1 or more. If you haven't paid the amount due by the payment due date each month, late fees may apply. Learn more about payment requirements, due dates, and late fees.

• We may limit the exposure of duplicate auction-style listings to ensure a positive buyer experience. If you list duplicate, identical auction-style listings, you'll be charged the full insertion fee for each listing even if a listing doesn't appear on eBay for the full duration of the listing. • Seller fees don't purchase exclusive rights to web pages on eBay. We may, in our sole discretion and without consent from or payment to sellers, display third-party advertisements (including links and references thereto) and listings from other sellers on any eBay web page.

• When you submit your listing, it might not appear immediately in a keyword or category search. This can take up to 24 hours. Therefore, we can't guarantee exact listing durations.
