Changing your eBay Store appearance (custom listing header)

Set up an eBay Store banner, called a listing header, to brand your Store and drive more buyer traffic to it. The listing header appears at the top of the description section in all of your listings.

A listing header includes:

  • Your Store name

  • Your Store logo

  • A link that allows buyers to add you to their Favourite Stores

  • Up to 14 category tabs, each one displaying up to five of your listings when clicked

  • Your Store search box

  • A link that allows buyers to sign up for your newsletters

  • A marketing message that you can customize for different types of buyers

Setting up your eBay Store listing header

To set up or edit your customized listing header:
  1. Go to My eBay.

  2. Move your cursor above the Account tab until you see a pull-down menu.

  3. Select "Marketing Tools."

  4. Click the Listing Header link on the left side of the page.

  5. Specify how you’d like your custom listing header to appear.

  6. Click the Apply button to submit your changes.

Avoiding keyword spamming

The listing header is not included in item title and description searches, so you do not need to worry about violating eBay’s keyword spamming policies with your custom category names.
