Currencies
You must pay sellers in the currency that they specify, although if they accept PayPal payments, you may be able to send a payment in your own currency. To get an approximate conversion of the price of an international item into Canadian currency, click on the item title to access its View Item page. On the top of this page, both the seller-specified currency and Canadian currency amounts are shown.

Languages
Many members of the global eBay Community are comfortable communicating in English, but some are not. To minimize confusion, use simple language and avoid slang terms and abbreviations.

Language translation
If you do not speak the same language as the seller, you may want to use translation software to translate key phrases. Some translation services are available free on the Internet, but many are not 100% accurate and eBay cannot guarantee their services. If you use such a service, provide simple, grammatically correct phrases to maximize the chance of an understandable translation.

Time zones
Email response time may take longer due to time zone differences. To help manage time zone complexities, avoid waiting until the last minute to contact the seller with a question.
