to all users who list their items in Fixed Price format on eBay.ca.
eBay.com will be having a similar promotion on May 12, 2005 with
slightly different conditions.

What is excluded?
Auction-style listings, Auction-style with
the Buy It Now upgrade, Motors vehicles, Motors parts and accessories,
Business and Industrial Capital Equipment, Stores Inventory Format and
Real Estate Ad Format listings will also be excluded. The promotional
rate does not apply to listings with a start date before May 12, 2005
(including those listings revised during the promotional period). The
promotional rate also does not apply to listings created during the
promotion May 12, 2005, but scheduled to start after the promotion ends.
Frequently Asked Questions...
Will I have to wait to get my fees credited back to me? No, the
revised fees will be immediately reflected on the site. You will see
your insertion fees for Fixed Price listings on May 12 revised to 10
cents.
If I list on eBay.com
will my item be eligible? Yes, though the eBay.com promotion is
slightly different. Most notably, their promotion will run on Pacific
time, which means it will begin and end 3 hours prior to the Canadian

I'm re-listing an item that previously didn't sell on May 12 and I meet all
the other requirements, will I get the promo? Yes. Re-listed items
will be eligible.
Do Auction-Style listings apply? No, only Fixed Price listings
will be eligible for the promotional rate.
I'm adding the Buy It Now upgrade to my Auction-Style listings, will
they be eligible? No, Auction-Style listings with the Buy It Now
upgrade will not be eligible. Only Fixed Price listings will have their
fees revised.
I'm listing items in the Motors Parts and Accessories category, will
they be eligible? No, items in Motors vehicles as well as parts and
accessories will not be included in the promotion.
I list my items using third party tools such as Andale, will my Fixed
Price listings be eligible? Yes, whether you use Turbo Lister, the
Sell Your Item form or any other tool for listing items on eBay.ca, your
items will be eligible for the promotion, provided they meet the other
eligibility requirements.
