Listings created prior to the promotion and scheduled to start during the promotional period of December 19, 2005 will be eligible for the promotional fee.
IMPORTANT: The reduced fees for this promotion will not be immediately reflected on the site. Users will receive a credit to their account by January

All Canadian
residents who list their items on eBay.ca, eBay.com or eBay
Motors will be eligible for the promotion. Please note the
exclusions below. Items re-listed that match the above
eligibility will qualify for the promotion.
What is excluded?
Listings
that do not offer local pickup in the GTA, listings that do not
have the promo code TOPU in their title,
Auction-Style listings, Motors vehicles, Business and Industrial
Capital Equipment, Store Inventory Format and Real Estate Ad
Format listings will not be included in this promotion. The
promotional rate does not apply to listings revised during the
promotional period. The promotional rate also does not apply to
listings created during the promotion December 19, 2005, but
scheduled to start after the promotion ends.

1. Can I
offer Local Pickup in addition to a shipping option?
Unfortunately, no. You
must select "Will not ship -- local pickup only" under the
"Ship-to locations" area of the Selling form in order to be
eligible for the promotion.
2. I live outside of Toronto...why can't I participate in
this promotion?
We are currently testing the efficacy of a local pickup
promotion. Because the Toronto is Canada's largest single
concentration of eBay users, we are using it as the test site to
see if a promotion of this nature will benefit our sellers
looking to extend their holiday selling season and help
last-minute buyers find an item in their hour of need.
3. I live just outside of Toronto...am I considered to be a
Toronto-area resident?
There are two ways you can determine if you're a resident of
the Greater Toronto Area. The easiest way to know is if you
received a message via email and My Messages from eBay.ca on
December 18, telling you about this promotion. However, if you
have opted-out of these communications, you can find out if
you're eligible by
checking to see if your postal code matches this list.
4. Is the promo code TOPU case sensitive?
No, the promo code is not case sensitive.
5. Do I have to sell in Fixed Price format or can I just
offer Buy It Now in my auction-style listings?
You must sell in Fixed Price format only in order to be
eligible for the promotion. Upgrading your Auction-format
listing with Buy It Now will not make it eligible, since the Buy
It Now option disappears once you have a bid.
