Basic Fee Changes - Insertion Fees
We're excited to announce a major reduction in listing fees for Fixed Price listings—a new flat rate Insertion Fee of just $0.35 (C$ or US$), regardless of asking price or number of items available in your listing. Insertion Fees will be just $0.15 (C$ or US$) for Fixed Price listings in Books, Music, DVDs & Movies, and Video Games categories—and for the holidays, starting September 16 and through the end of the year, just $0.05 (C$ or US$) when you use pre-filled item information. Now you can list more of your inventory with less upfront cost. We're also offering 30-day duration for no extra cost!
Unless otherwise indicated, all changes will be applicable to listings on eBay.ca. See the Motors announcement for Motors Vehicles pricing changes. Most pricing changes will be effective as of 00:00 ET September 16, 2008 (as indicated below).

Starting in September and through the end of the year, we'll be running a special promotion of just $0.05 (C$ or US$) for Fixed Price Insertion Fees in Books, Music, DVDs & Movies, and Video Games when you list with pre-filled item information. Watch for details.
Multiple Item Fixed Price Listings
For Fixed Price listings with multiple items available, you will no longer be charged based on the total opening value. Your starting price will not be multiplied by the quantity of items in the listings, meaning lower fees. You will now only be charged the flat rate Fixed Price Insertion Fee regardless of the number of items in your listings - $0.15 (C$ or US$) for Books, Music, DVDs & Movies, Video Games listings or $0.35 (C$ or US$) for all other listings.
New Good 'Til Cancelled option
In addition to the new 30-day duration for Fixed Price listings, sellers will now have the option to use the Good 'Til Cancelled (GTC) duration which allows listings to automatically renew every 30 days. Insertion Fees and all Feature Fees will be charged every 30 days at the time the listing is renewed.
