eBay.ca Store Fee Changes
Please reference this page for changes which will affect Store Inventory listings on eBay.ca as of 23:59:59 ET on Monday, August 21, 2006. The Store Inventory listing format is an additional listing format that is only available to eBay Stores subscribers.
As Bill Cobb said in his letter, eBay.com will not be changing any US$ fees for Core listings. While eBay.ca will follow a similar plan, there are a number of Canadian dollar listing fee adjustments as well as some US$ listing fee alignments that may affect you.

1. How do the new Store Inventory Insertion Fees affect Good 'Til Cancelled listings?
Good 'Til Cancelled listings that are listed before 23:59:59 ET on Monday, August 21, 2006 will be charged the old (or current) Insertion Fee. The new Insertion Fees will apply once the Good 'Til Cancelled listing renews after 23:59:59 ET on Monday, August 21, 2006.
2. If I create a listing before August 22, 2006, but schedule it to start on or after August 22, 2006, what Store Inventory Insertion Fees and Feature fees will I be charged?
If a listing is created prior to 23:59:59 ET on Monday, August 21, 2006 but scheduled to start after 23:59:59 ET on Monday, August 21, 2006, then the new Insertion Fees and Feature Fees for each 30-day duration will be charged. Store Inventory listings created and scheduled to start before 23:59:59 ET on Monday, August 21, 2006 will be charged the old (current) Insertion Fees and Feature Fees.
3. How do the new Store Inventory Final Value Fees affect Good 'Til Cancelled listings?
If the Good 'Til Cancelled listing renews before 23:59:59 ET on Monday, August 21, 2006, then the old (current) Final Value Fees will apply for any purchases made until the next renewal date. Once a Good 'Til Cancelled listing renews after 23:59:59 ET on Monday, August 21, 2006 and has been charged the new Insertion Fee, the listing will then be charged the new Final Value Fee for all purchases made after the renewal. Please see below example for more information.

4. How will my Store Inventory Insertion Fees change if I change the Buy It Now starting price before the 30-day listing ends or the Good 'Til Cancelled listing renews?
Increasing the Buy It Now starting price before the 30-day listing ends or the Good 'Til Cancelled listing renews will generate an additional charge to your invoice; however, decreasing the Buy It Now starting price will not generate an additional charge to your invoice. Similar to Core listings, Store Inventory Insertion Fees are not pro-rated based on a partial duration. Please see example below for more information.

5. How does a multiple item Store Inventory listing impact my Insertion Fees?
Similar to today, the Store Inventory Insertion Fee will cover any quantity of items with a single listing, whether you list 1 or 1,000 of the same item. For example, a listing that starts at US$2.00 will be charged a US$0.05 Insertion Fee regardless of the item quantity associated with that listing.
