eBay University is coming to Toronto, ON on Saturday, May 12, 2007.

What is eBay University?
eBay University is a day long series of eBay-centric classes aimed at helping you get the most out of your eBay selling. Staffed by eBay staff and eBay instructors, it's also a chance to meet fellow eBayers, share insights and get the opportunity to pick up tips and tricks in a unique environment. We're expecting over 500 people!

Choose from two class levels - Selling Basics and Beyond the Basics of Selling - and learn proven eBay strategies that you can use right away!

Take either class for $60 US dollars (or $69.40 Canadian dollars). Classes run concurrently, so be sure to choose the one that is right for you.



Selling Basics

For those who have never sold on eBay before and would like to learn the basics before they begin, Selling Basics is the one for you. In this class you'll learn how to:

  • Become an eBay seller
  • Basic selling techniques
  • Create listings
  • Improve your listings with better descriptions and photography
  • Set pricing

  • Monitor your listings
  • Complete transactions

Beyond the Basics of Selling

Choose Beyond the Basics of Selling if you've already sold a few items and are looking to scale up your sales. In this class you'll learn how to:

  • Start and/or grow an eBay-based business
  • Choose the right listing format
  • Create compelling listings
  • Use eBay listing Tools
  • Which Selling Tools will save you time and increase sales
  • Market your eBay business
  • Manage your Listings
  • Pack and Ship Inventory
  • Accept online payments from PayPal
  • Advanced selling techniques
