Using alerts (Selling Manager)

Selling Manager uses alerts to inform you of sales activity that might require your attention. These alerts, which appear in your Summary view, are updated every 10 minutes.

The following table describes the alerts that you might see and how to take action on them.

Alert Description SMPro only

New PayPal payments received

New PayPal payments were received in the past 7 days. Payments are displayed for up to 7 days or until you mark the item as shipped.

Click this alert to view a filtered version of the Sold view with only these listings.

 

New international sales

Items were purchased by buyers registered on other eBay sites.

Click this alert to view a filtered version of the Sold view with only these listings.

 

Item failed to be listed using automation rules

An error prevented one or more items from being automatically listed. 

Click this alert to view the error and find out how to correct it.

Item failed to be relisted using automation rules

An error prevented one or more items from being automatically relisted.

Click this alert to view the error and find out how to correct it.

 

Item failed to be listed using automatic Second Chance Offer rules

An error prevented one or more Second Chance Offers from being sent.

Click this alert to view the error and find out how to correct it.

Product soon to be out of stock

Click this alert to see which products are running out of stock. This alert appears when products reach the restock alert limit you defined.

Negative Feedback received in past 7 days

You received negative Feedback within the past 7 days.

Click this alert to review and respond to Feedback comments.

 

Paid with no Feedback

You haven’t left Feedback for one or more buyers who paid.

Click this alert to view the Sold listings that are awaiting Feedback.

 

Feedback comments not sent due to system error

Indicates that your bulk or automatic Feedback comments encountered an error while being processed. The alert is displayed until you try to leave Feedback again.

Click this link to view a filtered version of the Sold view that displays only the listings for which Feedback failed.

Note: Errors for Feedback sent individually are displayed in real time and are not counted in the alert.

Listing eligible for Unpaid Item reminder

Click this alert to see sales that buyers haven’t yet paid for.

 

Unpaid item and cancel transaction cases requiring your response

Click this alert to respond to cases that you opened in the Resolution Center. You have 10 days to respond.

 

Final Value Fee credit requests can be filed

Click this alert to see listings for which you can request a Final Value Fee credit. This happens when a buyer doesn't pay and then doesn't respond to an unpaid item case.

 

Automated emails not sent due system error

Indicates that your bulk or automatic emails encountered an error while they were being processed. The alert will be displayed until you try to resend the emails.

Click this link to view a filtered version of the Sold view that displays only the listings for which emails failed.

Note: Errors for emails sent individually are displayed inreal time and are not counted in the alert.

Email templates were found to have HTML or active content

Automated emails were blocked because the templates included HTML or other active content.

Email templates not sent due to system error

Automated emails couldn’t be sent due to an error.
