Accepting PayPal
When you offer PayPal as a payment method on your eBay listings, your buyers can pay quickly and conveniently using a credit card or checking account. You can also use PayPal to sell internationally.
If you don't already have a PayPal account, you can sign up by going to PayPal and clicking the Sign Up link at the top of the home page.
For sellers, there is a fee for each payment completed through PayPal. However, there are no setup fees, no monthly fees, and no minimum charge requirements.
Setting your account preferences to accept PayPal payments
If you already have a PayPal account, you can accept PayPal payments from buyers.
To accept PayPal payments:Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.
Place your pointer over the Account tab, and then click Site Preferences.
In the Selling Preferences section, click the Show link next to Payment from buyers.
Click the Edit link. You may need to sign in again.
Under PayPal Preferences select Offer PayPal as a payment method in all my listings.
Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
Note: Even if you don't have a PayPal account yet, you can still accept PayPal on your listings. To do this, select PayPal as a payment method when you list your item and enter the email address where you want payment sent. You'll be asked to sign up with PayPal once you receive your first payment. Be sure to use the same email address when you sign up for PayPal that you used when you listed your item.
Requirements to accept PayPal payments
If you offer PayPal as a payment option on eBay (either using logos or text in the item description) you must accept all forms of PayPal payment including payments from an existing PayPal account balance, bank account transfers, and credit card payments. You must have a Premier or Business PayPal account—or be willing to upgrade from a Personal PayPal account to a Premier or Business account—if you receive a credit card payment. Also, you can't tell eBay buyers that you will only accept specific forms of PayPal payment. See the PayPal payments policy for more information.
Updating or correcting your PayPal email address on eBay
Each time you list an item on eBay, the PayPal email address you used the last time you listed something is prefilled in the Decide how you'd like to be paid section of the listing form. You can change it, or leave it the same.
