List items using flat files from an Excel spreadsheet, Microsoft Access, or other inventory software, then transfer them to eBay easily and efficiently.

Sign up for File Exchange.
It’s free and will help you manage your listings faster.


Select and download a template.
The template you select depends on the category in which you want to list your items.


Complete the template.
Make sure to complete all of the required fields.


Save the template.
Use CSV (comma-separated values) or tab-delimited file format.


Upload the template.
Make sure to upload the .csv or comma-delimited file.


Review the upload status and results.
The upload status and results will appear on the View upload results page.
